Drawing and Sketching: Art, Psychology, and Computer Graphics

Description:

    SIGGRAPH 2025

Drawing is a fundamental human activity, used to think, communicate, and create. This workshop aims to deepen our understanding of drawing from both human and computational perspectives.
We will discuss questions such as: How do people draw pictures? What can psychology teach us about drawing behavior? How can the sketching process be modeled computationally? And how can sketching enhance designer control over AI tools?

We hope to inspire new connections and ideas by bringing these topics together in one place, and to inspire new interest in the computer graphics community in these topics.
