    “The player is the star” – Futuristic vision for Mixed Reality World is a presentation about our (BANDAI NAMCO Studios Inc.) achievement and showing future vision for mixed reality entertainment. In September 2017, we first showcased “PAC-MAN HoloLens” at ARS Electronica Festival 2017 in LINZ, Austria and around 400 people experienced. The result was really going well. Thanks to Microsoft HoloLens, we accomplished to make a life-sized PAC-MAN experience finally that people had a dream since 80s. People amazed and opened a mouth when life-sized PAC-MAN world appears before their eyes. After ARS Electronica Festival, we polished a prototype and developed another mixed reality game for Japanese theme park. In January 2018, we introducing Mixed Reality Attraction in NAMCO’s Theme Park These attractions are first Adoption of “Microsoft HoloLens” MR device in Japan’s Theme Park as BANDAI NAMCO Group’s “NAMJA TOWN x MR Project”. I think even the “world first” attraction for adoption of “Microsoft HoloLens”. Around 8,000 people played. In this session, I‘d like to share keys of success and knowledges about the developing mixed reality content and actual people reactions based on broad audience. Also, I’d like to share about futuristic vision for Mixed Reality World. Taking different angle, theme park is a small private testing city for experimenting cutting edge technologies. We tried to install mixed reality devices into theme park and we can imagine that what the futuristic city will be with mixed reality. Then, we found “Mixed Reality adds a whole new level of play factor into the real world and to encourage sociability through entertainment. Social communicator is a key element to make a mixed reality world becomes better society. I hope attendees will inspire our futuristic vision and contribute to growth of mixed reality community.
