An associate professor specializing in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from UP Los Baños, he is currently working on several interdisciplinary projects such as developing digital tools for eggplant phenotypic analysis, automated wood chip identification for forestry research, Image-based AI for Crop pest and disease index, image-based AI for food and nutrition research, and the Smart UPLB initiative.
