Rosina is a PhD student at RMIT University with a research focus on practicing VR as a creative medium. Rosina’s research explores VR as a painterly medium by studying traditional Chinese landscape paintings and integrating Xie Yi techniques with VR. It emphasizes the interplay between bodily gestures and technology, developing a painterly approach to generating dynamic landscapes. Through cross-disciplinary practices of painting, drawing, and projection, her research points towards new understanding and approaches for practicing with(in) digital environments.
