Bio
SIGGRAPH Asia 2018
Gahyae Ryu (Sound Designer) is a creative and passionate sound designer in theatre, film and music. Her previous selected production work includes: Hedda Gabler, Appropriate, Kiss, Peer/Gynt (CalArts, Valencia), Three Sisters (Brooklyn, NY), We Fight We Die (New Haven, CT). Associated sound design credits include: Turn Me Loose (Arena Stage, Washington DC), Until, Until, Until… (YBCA, San Francisco), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (S.Korea). She is an MFA candidate at California Institute of the Arts and she holds a BM from The Hartt School of Music. She is delighted to be a team member for Islands/Seom.
