“””Mortadelo y Filemon”” has a peculiar stetic that is neither photorealistic or traditional appealing animation film. Javier Fesser tried to portrait the human imperfections in a dirty world. In this piece we show a selection of the different locations and lighting conditions that can be seen through out the movie.
In “”Mortadelo y Filemon”” we pushed the efficiency of the studio finding new workflows to produce stable shaders, writing custom software to reuse lighting between shots and a whole suite of animation tools for a streamlined production.”
