Description:

“Little Yeyos are spirits living in the mythological Chinese spirit world who wander about during the night. Among the seven Yeyos, the Intern is the one who does all the chores and gets the least attention. Things are no different on this day, when he is kicked out of bed by the Girl Yeyo to turn off the alarm clock. But the appearance of a mysterious light dot changes everything…if only for a little while. On the technical side, we used the Arnold renderer and Katana lighting tool to achieve the image quality in the short. This allowed us to use lighting as a key component of story development, heightening the sense of mystery and wonder inside the Yeyo cave.
“”Little Yeyos”” is Light Chaser’s first short film. We are a startup animation studio based in Beijing, founded in 2013 by Gary Wang, the founder and ex-CEO of Tudou.com, China’s leading video sharing website. Our goal is to produce top quality animated films that appeal to a broad range of audiences.”
