Ferdinand is a hot-headed former dart champion who has a fi erce spirit of competition. Aft er being suspended for two years for assaulting a jeering fan, he loses his drive for the game and secludes himself at home watching TV, even aft er the suspension period. One day, a spider comes to his house and is fascinated with the design of the dartboard hanging on the wall. Th e Spider gets preoccupied with building webs of the same design, and Ferdinand starts tossing darts at the spider. However, no matter how hard he tries Ferdinand keeps missing the spider, and what started as a trivial time-killing activity becomes the showdown of the century for Ferdinand. He starts chasing down the spider furiously with his dart, which results in his house caving in on him. Ferdinand, passed out, recovers his consciousness aft er a while and sees numerous dartboard-like spider webs hidden behind the walls and the ceiling. Dazed by the view, Ferdinand cs about the game he once played.
