Description:
Grand Ballroom and Spanish Ballroom Olympic Hotel. It should be a grand evening for all. Starting at 8:00 PM, we will gather to mourn the passing, commemorate and rejoice in the accomplishments of ACM/SIGGRAPH’s Graphics Standards Planning Committee (b. 1974-d. 1979). This is the first annual SIGGRAPH Conference since the GSPC completed its work. The undersigned mourners invite their GSPC co-workers and all graphics colleagues to join them to give GSPC a right and proper burial during SIGGRAPH 80. There will be a telling of tales—true, false, wishful or mythical—about the CORE and the people who wrote it. Join us to shed a tear and toast the future.
