Ari Tarr is an immersive actor, director, and designer specializing in physical theater, mime, puppetry, and multimedia. He co-founded an XR startup in 2015, producing for JauntVR, Occipital, and UploadVR. He later created VR content for River VR Studios, High Fidelity, and Björk, and worked in Med-tech developing VR therapy environments. Ari has been a lead host for Adventure Lab, Active Replica, and Agile Lens. His work has appeared in The New York Times, NBC, Forbes, and Vice. He has taught XR theater at NYU, York University, and Brooklyn College and is dubbed the “Original Ractor” by Jason Moore.
