Noah Miller is a PhD student at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University where he studies the design and evaluation of positive transformative experiences with VR. Using immersive technology, he develops experiences that evoke and accommodate cognitive shifts to elicit positive social and mental health changes. He has worked on diverse international projects including research on spatial cognition, combating isolation, and VR headsets in microgravity with the ESA. He also does industry research and development in motion capture, animation, and live streaming. He aspires to foster advancements in transformative experience design for positive change.
