Abstract:
Autodesk invites you to explore the transformative role of AI in the world of visual effects and animation, across film, TV, and games. Discover how Autodesk is advancing creative workflows with AI, harnessing its potential to empower artists to be their most creative, and opening the door to a broader spectrum of creators.
Acclaimed writer, director, and producer David S. Goyer — known for “The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Blade”, Apple TV+’s “Foundation”, STARZ’ “Da Vinci’s Demons”, and Netflix’s “The Sandman” — will reflect on how technology has shaped his storytelling over the years, and how AI might influence the next generation of creative voices. Goyer will be joined by actor Tye Sheridan and filmmaker Nikola Todorovic, co-founders of Wonder Dynamics (now a part of Autodesk) and the team behind Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio), an innovative cloud-based platform that accelerates VFX pipelines with cutting-edge AI. Moderated by award-winning journalist and author Carolyn Giardina, the panel will explore how AI is reshaping the creative process, expanding access, and redefining the future of storytelling.
The keynote will also include insights from Autodesk leaders Mike Haley (SVP of Research) and Maurice Patel (VP of Media & Entertainment Strategy), who will share how Autodesk’s legacy of research and cross-industry innovation is driving the development of practical, creator-first AI tools. From MotionMaker in Maya to Autodesk Flow Studio, they’ll highlight how AI is helping artists work faster, iterate more freely, and stay in control of their creative vision.
