Lancelot Blanchard is a musician, AI researcher, and engineer, currently pursuing a PhD at the MIT Media Lab. His research focuses on developing musical instruments that can embed generative AI in a novel way to expand musicians’ creative reach and inform new musical experiences, especially in the context of live music performances.
