Title:

MRsionCase: A Glasses-Free Mixed Reality Showcase for Surrounding Multiple Viewers

Description:

The seamless collaboration between real objects and virtual information is a challenging issue for effective information displays in various fields, including museum exhibitions, advertisement, and digital signage. Former studies on displaying information for showcases required users to wear additional display devices, such as HMDs (Head-Mounted Displays) for presenting spatially superimposed images[Bimber et al. 2001]. Moreover, additional calculation was needed for the occlusion between real objects and virtual images, since virtual images were superimposed to the objects only from the front.
