Alice in Wonderland / This study explores the prospective of typographic forms, based on custom computational models, which transforms from two-dimensional structure to three-dimensional sculptural form. Simultaneously, two-dimensional types will transform into four-dimensional types, which will be juxtaposed with time and motion in the virtual space.
In details, this thesis research is about visual creativity of typography’s dimensional transformations. In the presence of our existence, we can say that there are no limitations of techniques and technologies to express our creative minds visually.
In today’s society, the limitation no longer exists, but capable of extraordinary things. Using variety of techniques with effects, each computational model must accommodate the variation in letter shapes, while trying to balance functional flexibility with the beauty and legibility of fine typography.
In most cases, this study explores typography in a new approach of expressing typography in a creative matter, yet maintaining the visual consistency of the types in two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and four-dimensional space.
