PEOPLE IN MY OWN FICTION / Film Etching / each 8 X 10 cm
Humans have always desired impossible or fantastic things and then actualized their dream. When we look at something out of the ordinary, a lack of adequate visual information causes us to re-evaluate our perceptions of reality. In my works, I approached the dichotomy between what is known physically and scientifically and how it is understood in the mind or felt in the body. My work is a world of new images that are distorted or reconstructed by my memory, dreams, religion and surroundings. I represented reality through new combinations of these images, similar to digital recombination codes – binary codes consisting of negative and positive notion.
