Bio
Sally is a musician, creative technologist, writer, performer and a former radio host on Australia’s national youth broadcaster, triple j. Her new music project, Big Sand, is an animated sci-fi virtual band, created using Unreal Engine and brought to life using motion capture technology. The project has seen Sally named an inaugural recipient of the Creative Australia x APRA AMCOS ‘Digital Futures Initiative’, and begin a practice-based PhD with UTS Creativity & Cognition Studios in the use of game engines and motion capture for live music performance.
