João Madeiras Pereira is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the CS Department of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon where he teaches Computer Graphics. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computers Engineering from IST/UTL, and also received an MSc and a BsEE degrees from the same school. Currently, his main research fields are High Performance Graphics, Photorealistic Rendering and Augmented Reality. He has been involved with several European and National projects, is author or co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and is member of the Eurographics Association, IEEE (Senior Member), ACM (Senior Member) and GPCG.
