    The 8500M Intelligent Computer Graphics Terminal utilizes a unique solid-state beam addressed image memory and an internal microprocessor. Standard features include a 4096 x 3072 viewable window for high resolution raster graphics without stair-stepping, 16-times panoramic zoom and preview window, hardware generated conics vectors, texturing and shading, selective erase, 32 levels of gray scale, 256 selectable character sizes, selectable line writing angle, video and graphic overlay, high-brightness, flicker-free display. Options include a FORTRAN support package, data tablet, floppy disk, hard copy. PEP-500 Image Memory/ Scan Converter utilizes the Princeton developed Lithocon image memory for an economically practical system for visual display of electronic signals from any source – i.e., industrial and medical x-ray, nuclear scanning, waveform display, ultrasound imaging, computer enhanced images, computer graphics. An interface has been developed for the PEP-500 for displaying on-line computer graphics through lV monitors or lV projection systems.
