    Introducing Excalibur from Saber Technology Corporation, the latest in the SaberStation series of graphics workstations. With ultra-high screen resolution, true color and image dynamics, Excalibur achieves a level of performance that is true high fidelity.

    The SaberStation is a UNIX based, office-oriented graphics system with the power and versatility of a super minicomputer. The 19″ ultra-high resolution display produces a picture quality (1664 x 1248) offering higher resolution and greater brightness (35 foot Lamberts) than any other system on the market. System performance can be further enhanced by the use of hardware accelerators for shading, tiling, scaling, clipping, etc. The stand-alone workstation, capable of interfacing over local area network, can be used in any CAD, CAM, CAE and image processing environment.

    Saber Technology is displayng its product line of state-of-the-art graphics and image products. Products include the next generation workstation, SaberStation, based on the National Semiconductor NS32032 with an ultra high resolution 2 megapixel display In addition, Saber will show a 1280 x 1024 ST310/64 color display a 1664 x 1248 ST125/78 monochrome display and the fully programmable video patte rn generator. Al Saber products are designed for and marketed to OEM manufacturers in the CAE, CAD, CAM, CASE, general graphics and image processing markets.
