    SIGGRAPH 1989

Getris Images, a leading European supplier of innovative 2D/3D videographics systems, brings out its new line of high-end 32-bit stations: Venice. Venice meets all postproducers and broadcaster’s needs: ultrasophisticated paint, the only existing real-time 2D animation system, advanced special effects module, and the Digital Arts 3D software, with 4.2.2 output, real-time, anti-aliasing.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

GETRIS is an integrated 2-0 and 3-D videographics workstation. Distinguishing features include real-time cel animation, advanced video painting and the Digital Arts 3-D software. GETRIS is particularly well suited to applications such as post-production, television graphics and corporate communication.

    SIGGRAPH 1986

Graphic Workstations: Realistic 2-D and 3-D graphics can be synthesized and animated on the Atalis and Getris workstations. Units are compatible with video standards, genlockable and can simultaneously display 16.7 million shades. High capacity memory frames of 1024 x 1024 x 12 bits allow for picture overlay, windowing, object priority, visibility and invisibility in real time. Image fill-in is at 13.5 million pixels per second. Picture frames taken with a video camera can be stored, retouched and modified. Powerful software allows air-brushing, fade-outs, text overlay, etc. The workstation can be interfaced with the IBM PC AT and compatibles.
