Title:

    Picture (Im-) Perfect - Exploring Imperfections in Computer Generated Rendering

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    Computer graphics rapidly advances in depictions of ever-more realism – calculating exact symmetry, perfect lines and flawless shadows that follow the physicality of reality. This project explores hand-drawing and hand-painting techniques, reintroducing a much-needed return to traditional artistic skills through a mixture of hand-painting and procedural texturing and 3D shading.

    INVITED TO THE FIRST ROUND OF THE STUDENT RESEARCH COMPETITION
