    From Pixels to 3D: A Guide to Photogrammetry Systems and Workflow

Session/Category Title:   Educator's Day Session

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    Photogrammetry serves as a pivotal bridge between the physical and digital realms, revolutionizing the capture of real-world objects and environments with remarkable precision. In the context of creating photorealistic digital doubles, photogrammetry has become the go-to method. During the upcoming session, Jingyi Zhang from Pixel Light Effects will draw upon over a decade of experience in constructing multi-camera scanning rigs. His talk will delve into essential tips, including shutter-light synchronization, data transfer, and design considerations. Additionally, he will explore high frame rate 4D scanning, covering data collection infrastructure, post-processing workflows, and practical applications.
