Title:
- XRweld: An In-situ Extended Reality Platform for Welding Education
Presenter(s):
Description:
XRweld leverages extended reality to augment welding training. Due to the specific embodied knowledge of metal welding, it can be difficult to learn and master the subtleties without extensive, hands-on mentorship. XRweld enables performance analysis and real-time, in-helmet visual feedback to scaffold novice welders through their educational journey.
