Evaluating Image Quality Metrics vs. Human Evaluation

Session/Category Title:   Visualization and Image Technology

Abstract:

Based on psychophysical experi ments, this sketch estimates how close a rendered image is to its original counterpart. Results from these experiments are used to compare and evaluate numerical comparison techniques.
