Additional Information:

    PRODUCTION
Modeling: polygons. Rendering technique used most: Multiplesimple rendering layers with Maya renderer. Average CPU time for rendering per frame: eight minutes. Total production time: 10 months.Production highlight: Rendering was our principal technical concern in this film, so we used the “Tomcartoonshader” experimental shaderby Patrick Jean. Rendering issues were solved only one month anda half before the deadline, and fine work between traditional tech-nique (a lot of painting) and new techniques for the contour line was essential. The render is a multilayer-pass compositing, and only for the layer black contour lines.
